Annet Mahendru
Mahendru is the daughter of Mahendru, who has a Russian mother from India and an Afghan Hindu father. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian and English as well as French Persian and Hindi. The parents of Annet Mahendru are Russian and Indian. An improvised performance she choreographed at the age of 11 which aired on German TV, changed her into an Russian dancer, who became a snow maiden. She graduated from high school within New York before earning a Bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. After high school, she attended acting classes at HB but subsequently enrolled in improv at Groundlings School. She then performed in a variety of comedy roles. The actress was born at the age of 13 in Kabul Afghanistan, to Hindu-Indian Ghanshan Kenne Mahendru (father) as well as Russian Olga (mother). She moved from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, together with her father after she was 13 years old. She is a star along Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel on FX's The Americans. Her most well-known role is the ex- KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. She played a recurring character on the Fox series The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
